Some people say that our body forces us to stop when we don’t take time for ourselves.

What happens in an individual way, also tends to happen in a collective way.

As a human civilization, often we found difficult times. Crisis that force us to take different approaches, make hard decisions. And all those times are recorded in history, where only some of the stories get to be told.

The world often forces some of us to reflect. But it’s not every day, and hardly in a lifetime, that we, as a collective group of souls in an entire species, expect to deal with something like this. And one ends up wondering why. One ends up thinking that maybe we had to be forced to stop.

We live billions of lives with no chance to rest. We are caught up in a bubble of schedules, routines, tasks, and obligations. Most of which make no sense. We live through tendencies, moments, and highlighted stories as a group. So lost as a collective as we often are as individuals.

We are lost. We lost our consciousness, our soul purposes, our definition.

We lost ourselves.

In this time when we are forced to remain at home, safe, taking a responsibility not only for ourselves but also for others, we are being given an incredible chance. A chance to stop. To reflect. To remember who we are and who we want to be and do.

This is such a rare and unique gift. The entire humanity was forced to cease the rhythm. To be left with not much else to do but gaze upon our existence for days.

Struggles, crisis, storms and pain often reveal much about ourselves. So now we got to ask ourselves what we are. Humans. What will we do? What are we capable of? What will we stand for? Not only will we have a chance to grow individually, but we have the incredible chance to do it together. What will we learn from this, and will we teach to the future generations? Will we continue with our bad habits, or learn that it’s time for a global change? Will we unite as one single energy, or will we let ourselves be divided?

In the future, books will be written about this. Documentaries will be made. History will see it as one of mankind’s most definite moments. One that might change the modern world.

What change will we make? What change will we want to see?

In crisis, people can find out who they are. In pain, people find their strength. In overwhelming times, we learn our peace within. In dark times, we find ourselves. We find our light. The one we’ve been shadowing for so long.

This is a time to show what we’re made of. A time to reconnect. To remember love. To spend time with the people we share our home with but rarely talk to. To bond with our pets. To take a better care of the place we return to every night and wake up to every morning. To enjoy the time we always say we never have. This is a blessing we’re being given. A blessing so few had. A second chance.

What will you do? Who will you be? What part do you want to take in history? What example do you want to give to the future generations? What example will you want to give yourself?

It is up to you, a single unique and important cell to be a definitive part of the bigger picture, the humanity as an organism, a collective mind, and a part of the Universe’s soul.

It doesn’t matter my name, where I’m from, nor how I came here. Like you, I’m searching. Lost in this world, with so much to speak up, but no one to listen.
