To those that were left behind. Whose path on this Earth has ended. For all their legacy we linger on, here. We not only live with our own roads to walk. We take the responsibility to honour them, and carry them with us, wherever we go. We carry their teachings, lessons and fights. We carry their memory, their spirit, their soul, their legacy. We carry on, in sure that they are present with us, in our minds, our thoughts, our heart and emotions, our smiles and tears. We carry them in our souls, while we thread a path that still has long ways to go.
We are never the same after we lost one dear to us. Though we may believe in the afterlife, it is a difficult rite of passage. One that changes our way of living. For our eyes see our world, and theirs. Our souls feel our spirit, and theirs.
May we continue their legacy on our own. May we honour them. May we live more because of them. May we see the beauty in their passing.
May we celebrate them more than we grieve them.
