I can’t breathe…

I can hear them. I can hear their screams. I can feel their suffering. Their despair become mine.

All those children in the hands of monsters. Those who comprehend try to flee but they can’t.

All those women and men and beings that know only horror. That never saw water crystal clear. That never laid eyes on the ocean. They don’t know what is to have no concerns. What is to sit by a house just feeling the air.

I can hear them cry in despair. What they only know is a living nightmare.
I can hear their souls breaking. Thousands of fish suffocating. The whales mourning.
The pets we kill to survive. I can see the confusion in their eyes.

I can’t breathe!

I don’t… I don’t want to feel! I don’t want to know their pain. No!

The dark cloud is surrounding me, like poison, draining my soul.

Where’s the light? No, I need to find the light!

There’s so much horror around me. How could I possibly manage to survive?

“Remember who you are, remember you are light, the pulse of stars. Remember your rhythm, the music within. Remember your quintessence, embrace it, feel the transcendence…” it echoes.

The air still won’t come in. How can I help them? I… I can’t stop it! It’s everywhere!

I CAN’T BREATHE!

“Remember who you are, remember you are light, the pulse of stars.”

I can’t… I can’t help them

“Remember the long-term goal. Remember. Remember”

I can’t help them! I can’t stop this now!

“Remember what you can do”

I feel so powerless…

“Remember the small grains that shift a mountain”

I can’t breathe…

It doesn’t matter my name, where I’m from, nor how I came here. Like you, I’m searching. Lost in this world, with so much to speak up, but no one to listen.
