S4E07 — “Faith”

It’s not enough to live. We also need reasons for it.

Why do we keep fighting? What makes us get up in the morning? Some joy present in our lives, or some sense of purpose?

When there’s no joy nor purpose, then what keeps us going? What good can be found within?

What feeds this faith?

The quiet in a rare silence is perfect to reconnect. To press play in that music and feeling like it understands us.

The soft touch of fingers on a piano leave silence out of words. Every second, life flashes in paced memories, making us wonder our sense, our place. And it’s the simple things that we recall. Simple shows of love.

Faith…

In the warmth of a sun setting.

In the reds flashing clouds.

In the glow on the surface of the ocean. In the curvature of those perfect waves.

In the thousands of grains of sand beneath our feet, where now we feel our own heartbeat, the pulse of this Earth.

In all of it that is speaking to you.

In someone else telling us how our presence is noted.

In waking up one day and not feel the weight of the world for once. In a sun lighted morning that cheers our spirit, or a rainy sky that brings a nostalgia feeling.

In the expressions of new companions that remind us of the old ones we miss dearly. And their unique personalized character that assures we always have room for more creatures to love.

In coincidence that feels like divine work.

In numbers and colors and signs we keep searching. Reasons that justify our fight, that feel like proof that we are not crazy or alone. That that faith has a motive.

But faith is nowhere else to be seen.

Faith is our essence.

We are that faith.

Faith is not there to be observed. We observe the world around and choose the signs that give us reasons to hope, to love. To have faith.

It doesn’t matter my name, where I’m from, nor how I came here. Like you, I’m searching. Lost in this world, with so much to speak up, but no one to listen.
